This week, Busy’s Girls5Eva co-star and friend Sara Bareilles is back to talk about what it’s like to try to write songs when you’re not sure what you have to say. She tells us what’s next for her (hint: one thing is musical, another thing is matrimonial) and why we all deserve comfortable pants.

I just finished “The Interestings”
OMG. I’m so sad. It’s an incredible book. I’m devastated by the ending. Gosh!
No wonder Sarah sounds so stuck. There’s no possible way this book can be anything other than what it is. A harbinger. A Cautionary Tale!
Why do we even try in life to make art. Or friends.
Nothing lasts.
Children are not grateful. Parents die.
Friends are useless. In Time.
We are all just reading good books and wishing great stuff like G5E were real
I’m so sad
Lots of love for this episode! I love comfortable pants, I love Sara Bareilles and I love Katie Pruitt. I was tickled to hear Sara shout out Katie as I just caught her show on April 1st. I'd first started listening to her when she was on tour with Brandi Carlisle. Her lyrics are amazing. She is such a sweetheart too. I had a nice conversation with her after her show.
I have a pair of pants that I can't let go of. They are comfortable and fit well. They keep coming apart at the seams, but I keep on repairing them, by hand. I can't find any that fit the same, apart from having a pair tailored, but I don't have "I tailor my clothes" money.
