Best moment of the podcast (among stiff competition of many great moments) was when Alex said that sometimes he gets 1 h 40 minutes into the podcast and that’s all he can do. He unwittingly said this exactly 1 h and 40 minutes into the episode 😂
I don’t know if anyone else has left a suggestion for a top notch ice cream scoop to replace Emily BB’s but I have one I love! It’s a Martha Stewart one from Macys. We have broken so many and this one is heavy duty. I use it on my milk alternative ice cream (since I find them a light harder to scoop) and it works great!
Lol...I made it to the bottom of the post....I am a packing cube lover! There's so many ways to use them! When the kids were younger, I'd do a cube a day and I could fit everyones outfits for a day in one cube. Then I'd just pull out the next days cube in the evening, hang things up to de-wrinkle (it's in a suitcase, it will wrinkle) and then put our dirty stuff back in the now empty cube when PJs were put on). We have multiple colors, so if on longer trips, each person has a color and they sort how they won't by item, by day, by stop (when we were in Ireland we would stay at a hotel 1 or 2 nights and then move to the next city...for a week, so each hotel stop had a cube). When moving (which we do every 2-3 years), each person uses their color but then we scatter them around the different suitcases. So if a one of the eight bags get lost, someone is not completely without any clothes for when we arrive at our new post.
So this isn’t related to this particular podcast episode but my husband and I are driving around Lake Superior for the next few days. Our first stop is Duluth. Caissie, what are your top recommendations? We’ve never been and I know how much you love it!
Great episode (as always!) and the best long dog walk pod. 🐶 Busy’s eating doesnt bug me at all and I am also commenting bc I want to know more about the specific serums and moisturizers in Emily BB’s mini fridge. 😁 Bring her on longer bc this 40+ yo has gotta know what we’re putting on our faces these days.
I love Alex! I have listened to him a couple of times on Mike Birbiglia’s podcast. I think Mike is actually a producer for Alex’s show. Which I would love to see, but, New York. I am in Long Beach, CA. Thanks for making us all feel like we are friends in real life. The pod brightens my week, and I truly appreciate you both. Thank you. And Happy Fri-yay❣️‼️

DULUTH GRILL!!! And go see a mansion. Glensheen, maybe? And get a sunset dinner in the revolving restaurant at the top of the Radisson.
Tough titties is one of my fave sayings!
💕💕💕
I would love to hear a conversation on the pod about the submarine
(RIP 🙏)
Also, I’m panicked anytime anyone on the podcast mentions the length of episodes being too long haha!
Please don’t shorten the episodes!!

Oh, it was Ashley who has a skincare fridge. I didn’t look in it, but I will ask her!
As always loved this week’s pod... 💜💜💜
I do think we need some new “a Bitch contains multitudes” merch from Brave Gowns 🤞🏻🤣
Hooray for free stuff Friday! (and also for not so free stuff, because I ordered some notebooks and gel pens... I’ve been influenced!!😊💜)
Happy tough 🍊🍊 and happy Friday.

🤍 you guys and everything you do!
Love this & loved the convos this week - hard topics with lighthearted banter is kind of my kink
LOVE IT
I have my mom's "First Family" vinyl in my house right now.
