Well, I’ve gone and done it. I’ve become one of those people who set up a platform online to commune with my community but winds up getting caught in the swirl of life and then feeling guilty and now here I am writing a post where the content of the post is an apology for not posting lately. My most hated type of post!!!!!!!!
I would like to equally apologize for not checking out the substack lately!!! It’s been a whirlwind of a few of months, in a great way, with not much sitting still. Definitely have kept up with the pod though, as I purged and cleaned my house, drove place to place and while getting all of the yard work and gardening done!!!

We know the extremes that come with bdays- joy, gratitude, unknowns, heavy reminders in all ways, BUT once we survive that coaster—there’s a stillness that lets us know how magic it is to be here and how loved we are. I really hope you get that moment today, Caissie. Getting to spend time with you weekly has undoubtedly changed many of our lives! (I still haven’t made it back to IG, but art of you and Busy for the pod will be my🎁 The impact your simple yet powerful DM response had is my unforgettable proof of what we can do anywhere to SEE one another!!) Don’t get me started on how awe inspiring you are as a creative super human. Thank you for the community you’ve given us, and all the work that goes in that’s technically unseen but always felt. Thank you for posting this episode as a special treat! I feel like it's totally *kismet* as I just started re-watching (binging, let's be honest) The Good Place last week. My stepmom, who was my best mom for the last 32 years, passed away unexpectedly last Tuesday. I'm going to miss her so much and am heartbroken that my dad has lost the love of his life. Watching The Good Place is giving me all the feels about morality and the "meaning" of life - in a good way. William Jackson Harper is a doll. Looking forward to the Pod this week to hear about the whale watching trip and hear what Busy and Caissie are doing their best at this week.
