This week, Busy and Caissie are very excited to welcome iconic actor Martha Plimpton to talk about her work with A is For, an organization she helped found, that fights tirelessly to advance reproductive rights, end the stigma of abortion care and to protect bodily autonomy for all. Plus, Busy talks about a spontaneous decision to let her kid come home from boarding school for the weekend and Caissie explains why she needed Matt to physically dress her for a friend’s birthday celebration. It hasn’t been easy for anyone to do their best, lately, we know. That’s okay. Sometimes our best is just okay or not very good at all. It’s different every day. We love you and if you feel like sharing how you are holding up, we want to hear from you and we bet everyone else here would too. So tell us what’s going on with you and if you’re able, maybe leave a kind word for someone else. Maybe it’s time for another round of group chat matchups? You tell us!

Doing my best to help my 12yo navigate dealing with periods, acne, her first term of high school, friendships and all the rest that comes with being a tween / teen. Toddler years were hard to deal with / survive but fairly straightforward to understand (in retrospect) but this stage of parenthood is giving me the fear - if I fuck this up then they might be awful adults?!?
