We’ve got a new podcast episode for you this week, which was a smidge late due to a technical glitch, which kinda feels cosmically correct in this moment.
Thirtysomething. April 4, 1989 (season 2, episode 13). Same. May 1990. The 2-part season finale. They deal with Quantum entanglement, including the insight that 'gravity is not exclusive to planets and suns'. It is the same, with Relativity (September 1996 to May 1997) where, in the opening credits, it is explained that Relativity is best explained as '10 minutes at the dentist feels differently from 10 minutes with someone you love'. These led to my own work on the subject. A book written a decade ago amongst the great minds of something called The Quantum Consortium where Kai Bongs allowed me access to a library that had one entry that supported my theory that "Spooky action at a distance' was about entities feeling the same thing. I was lucky. I am not a physicist. I am someone who believes that the sentiment that Ondaatje andc Sorrentino share with Hawking. Time (is Space Time) being different (the Capote quote in 'Beat the Devil'.) for everyone. What is the point? What we are entangled with is a mystery. Memory being a choice. We remember what we want to so that we can feel what we want so that we can remain entangled to something we cannot identify. The building blocks of entanglements are obvious: songs, poems, books we have touched and read and written. Everything we choose to remember (WarLight: memory is a choice) It is our purpose. To be connected to something we can never know. To feel what we are feeling, at great distance perhaps, simultaneously. These connections are what travel through the threads. The feelings we all share. We do not know when it exists. What proves this? Highsmith from 'The Price of Salt' filmed as 'Carol': There are no accidents or coincidences. Everything comes full circle'. What am I yammering on about? The Thirtysomething quote about gravity is what matters. Because in the building blocks of the universe, Hawking thought of Gravity as god. What holds everything together. It dictates memory. It dictates energy. It brought me to listen to your podcast. And hear you talk so eloquently about what I am most passionate about. Thank you.
A magic pill to take away all worries, fun Foria products to help with my perimenopause issues, mittens that are actually very warm but don't make my hands sweat, for my Gram to visit me in my dreams, tank tops (damn hot flashes = many layers even in winter), Tequila 🎄🎁☃️❤️
A hug from my childhood best friend Willam who I haven’t seen in almost a decade, cozy pjs, a reading with Marcella Kroll or Chani Nicholas (dream wish), a pig pot (another dream wish), and a facial since I’m in my early 40’s and not yet had the pleasure of experiencing one.
I hope everyone has a beautiful holiday and stay strong, healthy, and safe everyone!! I also hope everyone gets at least 12 hugs a day!! 💞✨
OMG Jessa I too am wishing for something to keep me warm at my FRIGID work desk!! We aren't allowed space heaters either. I've been sneaking a heating pad on my lap or behind my back and placing my extra cardigan over that to give the illusion that that's all I have. The cord can run under my desk so no one can easily see it. I keep 2 cardigans and a fleece zip up, and fingerless gloves at my desk as well. On the really cold days I'll have all of those on at once. It's ridiculous looking I'm sure. I might have to find a cute shawl similar to the one that Caissie described on the pod previously.
A new litter box for my cat, a car that's dependable, the softest blanket in the world, and some yummy chocolate!! Love to all. Hope you all have at least one safe person in your life to celebrate ( or commiserate with) depending on the occasion ❤️
